It reminds me of the Cheers! episode where Cliff tried on the bark collar and gave the controller to Norm with instructions to "ZAP" him when he started to run at the mouth. An old guy got the controller and started zapping Cliff yelling "Dance,Mailman".ROFLMAO!!

and that's the only kind of thing the general public sees + youtube e collar antics + cattle prods used on tv in Westerns etc.

I don't know how one can educate the public about how the e collar can save a dog's life etc .
