Part9, thank you for posting as I was the one asking about smaller 16' boats to go in the garage. Congrats on the purchase, that model was definitely on my watch list. How did you make sure it would fit in your garage before purchase? Did you just count on your measurements? Do you remember the dimensions of your garage? (single? double?) Did you measure the package length/width yourself?

Ive ordered a few sets of the traxstech (sp) mounts. If you're interested i'll let you know how they work out. $60 a pair out of Quebec, so about 1/2 the price of the cisco mounts.

I measured my garage a million times and measured again at the boat show using my Hilti PD32 laser and a tape just in case... I thought it through ,over and over - visualizing how I was going to make it work... I panicked and couldn't sleep. When I got it, it worked perfect.
I have a double-car garage which is 21'-0" wide by 19'-4" deep. I have two-single doors. Angling it using the positioning jacks gave me lots of room. The swing tongue makes it even easier.
Lund's measurements seem accurate to me. Be mindful they use the smaller motor size.
A Lund 1600/1625 Rebel or Crestliner 1600 Vision were good packages too. Especially if you're only fishing.

The Crestliner Vision is supposed to be 'modular'. When we spoke to the guy at the Boat Show, he seemed to say that we could option up for full windshield, ski package, etc. etc. and even do it after the fact. The aim was to get new boaters buying Crestliner. It was my #3 choice and probably #1 on the value meter for fishing.
Lund, Crestliner and Princecraft (and then the next tiers down) are all the same company. You can't go wrong really with those three. Alumacraft seemed decent, but the guy was such an my wife wanted away from him immediately (and she likes everyone).
Hey Whiplash, I've got a 2013 1650 Lund Rebel XLSS. I attached a 3 foot Cannon Track to 2 of the Sporttrac brackets and it seems to work well. I'm usually running a braid and wire dipsey on each side on the cannon track.Quote:

Took the boat out on Lake Ontario running it for a few hours. No issues at all with the boat. 2016 90hp Mercury is pretty damn quiet as far as I'm concerned - except when wide open. I loved the full windshield. 35mph was easy to hit. I hit 40mph once...
To me, the 90hp is the only motor to get. I would have been sad with only 60hp.
Glad all went well on your maiden voyage Part9 :). I had mine out finally last Saturday as well, much smaller lake tho lol.
The traxtech def do the job, but running a 36" and 24" where i am they mess with using the rear cleats. Easy to put on, easier to remove (to allow usage of the travel cover). If you're ever local to Smithville fire me a pm and come have a look if you like.
