Reminder: EBR 012-9170

I was reading through the links yesterday hence why I linked it this thread as well. I'm used to reading legalese, but that "bafflegab"....lol

Still not done reading them all thoroughly, and yeah concerned about all proposed changes we are supposed to comment on, but aren't explained. Kind of par for the coarse for this admin. Think ORPP, think Carbon Tax, think....oh so much.....

Some parts on the surface though do seem encouraging.

What might be worthwhile, is to ask the MNR, under the proposed link to EBR Registry Number 012-9169, what do they propose to do with the small game license....would it still be required as the basic seal..when their proposed framework states:

ie...why do I need a small game seal to hunt Turkey ?

Seems they could adopt a 'Hunting' seal (vice 'Small Game') on the Outdoor card to cover everything and then, for example, sell the license and tag combo, like they do with Turkey and Deer, to hunt specific small game.

Wait..that would generate them more money...NAW, they would never do that :)

Well said fox, the disappearance of swamps,fencelines and habit is what needs to be protected. We all know that will never happen so reduce bag limits , that wont improve anything!.
