Moose hunting Pickle Lake

Nice Bull Moose! Congrats on your well-earned success.
I am not a fan of deep snowy hunts in far away/remote places myself.
We hunted near Upsala 2 years in a row and saw no moose or very much signs of them...

Well it's that time of the year again. Here we come pickle lake!
Hope we shoot our moose before the last day this year.
Will keep everyone posted.

Hi RIOB. Those were great pictures from your 2018 hunt. How did you do in 2019? Was there enough snow for a sled hunt?

I've shot 4 bulls in 1c. I don't hunt the snow but from my experience you have to hunt hard for them there and even that won't guarantee you will see one. I found the fishing to be excellent. For the amount of places to hunt it is high pressure. I also see very few cows and almost all bulls. The wolf population is high also. I've never seen a deer but you may run into caribou.
