A friend took received his first hunting license this year. While we were talking about our upcoming hunts I told him to make sure he had all his licenses and seals in order and I mentioned his PAL. He forgot to send away for it, he didn't think it was required because he already owned guns. This might turn out disastrous for his season now, especially if it takes a while to receive it. He just sent away for it last Friday.
That being said however; since he has his his deer tag, small game license, duck stamp, etc. and he is just missing his PAL; does that mean he can still come along on hunts, and participate (as a dogger for example, or calling geese); just not shoot? Futhermore, although it would limit my shooting - can he shoot using my gun, as long as there is only one gun between us?
Ugh, I just hope it comes in before small game starts - I've hunted alone, but honestly; I enjoy hunting with a buddy and sharing in the thrill of the hunt.
