The brittany and my 20 gauge bobwhite were 2/2 yesterday, north of Barrie on a short hunt. No birds there before so the migration is on. Hit both birds with the first shot. I got one earlier this week at another spot, in the oh-so-typical woodcock cover.....saplings so thick I didn't think I'd ever be able to get the gun up. I think it actually helps with woodcock because it let's them get out a bit before you're on them.
Great shooting! The Bobwhite works very well for wingshooting. I still own a couple (20 & 28) that I had acquired in 2004. Didn't realize that SxS model also came with sling swivels, perhaps intended for the European market?

I seem to only get 2 woodcock no matter what gun I use: both 20 gauges, first Ithaca SKB 200E (25 inch barrel) choked IC and Mod: second Laurona 27 inch barrel choked skeet/skeet.
Well, two woodcock is a meal ... and a lot less time spent plucking, cleaning, and cursing. Can't knock that. :)
I like that Laurona. I've really started to like double triggers. When I first got the CZ I thought I'd find them clumsy and inconvenient but it worked out to be quite the opposite.

I just sold a 12 gauge Laurona that was basically the same model as your 20 gauge.
The guy who bought it was from Quebec and already had the one exactly like yours.
