Immigration Minister Marco Mendicino said he is confident a contract with a company owned by the Beijing police adequately protects personal information of people applying to Canada for visas.
Get the idea that China is running things?

I am sure they did at the time....since the comments are coming from Blair and on CBC that would usually put it in fake news but this issue isn't new, it is ongoing from I believe 3 or 4 years in the past*. I'm sure in 2008 unlike Justlied Trudeau and Bill "no Facts" Blair at the time there was concern and the choice looked good or the options were small or likely just the one. In China a huge number of companies are run by the government, ones like Huawai for example, that one banned in most other countries due to that, but not Canada. The only Canadian company that is banned is SNC by the IMF and World Bank etc. over it's corruption.Quote:
