True... but salt and dried herbs don't take much to carry. Lol
I'll take a salt sprinkled, seared cut of anything over boiled anything, any day.

Mine runs kodi.. not sure if thats the same or not. Not really sure how it works actually haha but ive found some episodes, downloaded seasons 1-4 completely and watch it through my android box off my external harddrive. May just download newer ones on itunes and use the chromecast i hate illegally downloading stuff i really want to help promote but im not about to get cable or satellite anymore, too much kife between the little bits of good stuff. So glad 5 and 6 are on netflix though looking forward to newer ones on it eventually
oh for sure, any meat boiled is not good, but i guess it works for sustenance and prevents him from getting trichinosis (again).
he sometimes surprises me what he carries in his bag though. he'll just pull out a pile of root veggies. but thats when you realize he has a few guys on his crew who also get to carry gear in and arent hunting.
Depends on what he is boiling? Tongue especially is usually boiled and flavoring added afterwards is a standard practice of European cooking. Boiled tongue and allowed to cool in a fridge, thinly sliced adding salt & pepper on a sandwich with a favorite mustard is amazing. This was my sandwich meat growing up as a child along with smoked horsemeat.I'm as healthy as a horse. lol
This has to be one of my favorite shows. By far the best hunting show around. You can purchase all his episodes in HD from his website. http://meateater.vhx.tv

The guy is really good at debating and I've watched him take a bite out of a few good veggies.
I also enjoyed the show a lot, and like he sharing his thoughts on hunting, outdoors and life in general, bringing some real depth comparing to most other hunting shows.
Id encourage anyone who likes MeatEater to pick up any of Steven's books. I've read a couple and so far they're a joy to read.
