The exposure in LTC homes is no different from anywhere else. Its just that the residents are far more susceptible to its exposure than most everyone else.
SB... and the testing is more rigorous, for staff , residents and visitors. The increase is most likely to be because of people not following the rules. So follow the rules or you will become a spreader , you mask less bastards. Exclude LTC, once the most infections come from the schools they will be shut. If the numbers continue to rise the students will likely not be going back after christmas.
That pretty much sums up the whole Covid scenario. This in not a real 'killer' virus, if your healthy the vast majority of the people deal with it like any flu/virus. People who are immunocompromised or underlying medical conditions tend to need medical intervention, but even in them, most survive. Unfortunately the health of those residents in the LTCs are already too compromised to survive the added problems Covid inflicts and where the death rates are the highest.Quote:
