Well I give Canadians a little more respect, I think they know exactly what an assault rifle is,they hear and read about it in daily media and have all heard about mass shootings.I suppose next election you can talk to friends and relatives and say your supporting the party that brings back assault rifles,but that really does not sound very appealing to most folks.Quote:

The public trust is the be all and end all.
But when you have Chiefs like Blair, the G20, this, High River, utter idiocy using twitter during the attack, and many more things.....
the past days are going to have a big impact, especially when the public realizes (see the NP article Mikepal posted) they are seeing it now, just how flawed the Legislation is, and why it should have never been pushed..(the OIC) .and the smack to democracy that is..
I have feminist as friends and when I pointed out. This could just easily occur somewhere down road over abortion..it’s a wedge issue 50/50

When wanting to buy “assault rifles”. Police know they need to win the PR battle. They have strategies of DOs and DONTs.

I took a picture of an SKS all dressed up military looking and a wood stock SKS. I asked numerous people which one was more powerful they all said the one that looked military yet they were both the same gun. Did the dressed up SKS become super powerful because of the stock?
