Just enjoyed a wonderful day out at the ponds and woods with my dog. ( Can't hunt anymore.) Never thought we would be able to do that this Spring as I have Parkinson's Disease and the dog has cancer and had a TPLO last Fall. Saw two pair of Ring Necked ducks . Some days you have to remember to be thankful.

Did an overnighter with a retired buddy at the camp yesterday. Burned a bunch of stuff through the day to clear a new 100 yard shooting lane, put out a new salt lick and relaxed.
Saw a woodcock up close from the bush truck, it never even ran away fast, just puttered along.
My buddy was missing in the afternoon for 15 minutes or so mid-afternoon where we were burning, I went looking for him and found him fast asleep in a lawn chair sucking up sun rays!!
Hunt camp rocks, relax, slow down and enjoy life whenever you can while you can.
