I'm a non gunner now,but I just popped in..it amazes me now as it did before that you come to a forum segment called firearms n ammo..ya kinda half expect your gonna see something like 50 gr hpbt on 38 grs of h380 is a good load in 22/250..but no in ontario it's a bull legal tall crap thing...I'll say now as always,,and yous wonder why your loosing your guns..to squabs and a turnip have more gun culture
Apparently you didn’t see the entire thread just a few below talking about ideas to educate the public on firearms. Canada had a great gun culture, and it’s one that’s growing. I now know 10 people who never had their PAL that have got it. A few we plan to take small game hunting this fall.

I reloaded for years. mostly target shotgun but rifle and handgun too. When I started there wasn't the variety of rifle ammunition that is available today and lower cost target loads reduced any real savings in shot shells with the exception of the 28 gauge and .410. I don't miss it at all.
I had a case once where a reloader's rifle exploded,broke his jaw and blew off part of his nose. Obviously not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Some people should never be around things that go BANG!
Just because the gun blew up doesn't mean it was reloaded ammunition, if there is a barrel obstruction factory ammo is going to do the same thing, dah.
True. In the instance cited,IIRC,there was no evidence of obstruction and the victim (?) used reloads.Quote:
