Apparently you didn’t see the entire thread just a few below talking about ideas to educate the public on firearms. Canada had a great gun culture, and it’s one that’s growing. I now know 10 people who never had their PAL that have got it. A few we plan to take small game hunting this fall.
They say the only good wolf is a dead wolf, If that’s the case than I’ve reformed many a wolf.

It sounds like your expecting the performers to talk reloading issues. That part our hunting heritage appears to have escape a nuimber of today's hunters. There are still a few us that rise to the chellange of reloading, but most appear to be hooked on the ready made stuff and at what distributor it can be found, especially as a lot of it get bouight up south of the line. It use to be you could find loading components at Gun Show, now the market there is the manufacture stuff and it is usually no bargain. There is kind of some sense to it, when the cost of components has sky-rocketed, so probably your just as far ahead to buy the already manufacture stuff. Like cigarettes how many people still roll their own. If you are looking for such info as you have mentions, there are a number of other forums that have it.

I reloaded for years. mostly target shotgun but rifle and handgun too. When I started there wasn't the variety of rifle ammunition that is available today and lower cost target loads reduced any real savings in shot shells with the exception of the 28 gauge and .410. I don't miss it at all.

I had a case once where a reloader's rifle exploded, broke his jaw and blew off part of his nose. Obviously not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Some people should never be around things that go BANG!
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Just because the gun blew up doesn't mean it was reloaded ammunition, if there is a barrel obstruction factory ammo is going to do the same thing, dah.
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst!

True. In the instance cited,IIRC,there was no evidence of obstruction and the victim (?) used reloads.
