The predictions are for the possibility of a minority government. Justin has already stated that he is not interested in a coalition with any party. I suspect that not much will get done until another election is called when parliament dissolves due to a non confidence vote.
As opposition in a minority JT will have quite a bit of power, especially when you factor in the Liberal Senators . Harper will resign right after the election if the Cons end up in 3rd place which looks very possible right now. We are in for a decade of Socialism.

It goes in phases. There was a time when the Conservatives were decimated to a couple seats Federally after Mulroney but Harper is finishing up his 3rd mandate. Mulcair doesn't have the constitutional right to ammend the Senate like he says he will so he may never have control of it in his mandate, if he even appoints on Senator he will also be the hypocrite he accused Harper of being. That and a minority government means very little may get done. Harper is done, problem is I don't see any stars in the party to replace him.
Regardless of what party we all support use your fought after right to vote.
