Turns out it was due to the interaction between vitamin C and D supplements that I was taking. My blood work came back showing I was severly low in D, so my doctor got me to take 4000mg per day. I also took 1000mg of C per day. Both vitamins work together for regulation of calcium in your body, Turns out my levels were too high and I was getting calcium deposition in my tendon. Went to 2000 of D and a multivitamin. It took about 3 months then I could walk again. Fully recovered now. Another important fact that I learned - sunscreen application prevents your body from synthesizing D from sun exposure. I wear 60 block on my face , back of hands on a daily basis now after having solar keratosis burned off of me from being stupid in my youth. Doctor said I have to now rely on supps and diet to get adequate D.
