Well Hunting begins for small game Sept 15 (tomorrow) and Opening Deer with Bow is Oct 1 - 4.
So... I was thinking if anyone would like to get together for a breakfast at the 5 star in Kemptville for breakfast.
If anyone wants we could always go hunting afterwards for small game.
Let me know what the interest is.
I would probably come out, depending on the date. It's been a long time since I have been to a breakfast. I think the last time was just before the pandemic.

I've never been and am still new to hunting. Is this just a general thing where anyone can shown up? I don't want to crash a group of old buddies getting together but I'd also like to meet some more people who like to hunt. Anyone can show up. Some of us know each other a bit. A couple of people know each other well, but those guys seem to have left the forum. I suspect they will still show up though, and I hope they do! It's a good time and a great way to meet folks with common interests. It looks like Marlborough Forest is right near by if thats what the plan was. I still haven't tried hunting there yet, been mostly sticking to Calabogie/Lanark-Highlands/Madawaska but would love to try it out.
Your certainly welcome to come to breakfast and even bring a friend.
