Ottawa Breakfast Anyone??
Well Hunting begins for small game Sept 15 (tomorrow) and Opening Deer with Bow is Oct 1 - 4.
So... I was thinking if anyone would like to get together for a breakfast at the 5 star in Kemptville for breakfast.
If anyone wants we could always go hunting afterwards for small game.
Let me know what the interest is.

I would probably come out, depending on the date. It's been a long time since I have been to a breakfast. I think the last time was just before the pandemic.

We managed one last Spring I think.
I'd be down. Prefer a Sunday, as I now have a side gig working at a Gun Shop Sat am. But can work around if needed.

I've never been and am still new to hunting. Is this just a general thing where anyone can shown up? I don't want to crash a group of old buddies getting together but I'd also like to meet some more people who like to hunt. I was raised by two women who didn't think hunting was an appropriate behaviour, so I don't really know anyone.

Anyone can show up. Some of us know each other a bit. A couple of people know each other well, but those guys seem to have left the forum. I suspect they will still show up though, and I hope they do! It's a good time and a great way to meet folks with common interests. I could not make the last meeting, but I hope to come out this time.
People get along much better at these breakfasts than they do on the forum - once you've met members in person, you become more forgiving of idiosyncrasies that seem to appear in posts.

Everyone is always invited, just like to know who can attend so we can reserve a table. I will have to do it this time as a few members have left the site. But if you say your going but something comes up that's totally fine.
I might even go out hunting afterwards and anyone is welcome to come. If you have kid's they can come as well even babies.
Were a pretty open bunch of guy's. I have met many of the guy's in the Ottawa area over the years and considered it a privilege.

I'll join in! I've missed this little ritual - it's a good meet up for new hunters too.

Pick a date and if it works for me, I will be there. I will confirm after you pick your day.
