Is your logo copyright? Should be some stopping power in these loads.
outback
Nope free to use.
I only count 11 in your pic. Better check.
I figured someone would pick that up, the last one is behind shell, cat.......
How are the low brass hulls holding up there?
Haven't tried hope to this weekend, will be looking away. Load data came from IMR website, still a little worried about the shell comments on the last thread.
Pay attention to the plastic near the brass, seems odd that a heavy load like a buckshot load would be loaded into low brass target hulls.
I am interested to hear how it goes.
The need to worry about high or low brass ended when they stopped making hulls out of paper.
If your hulls have paper/card base wads you should still check for movement to see if it has moved.
GOOD LUCK>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
What is the range limitation on this 2.75" shell? I was under the impression 3" 12 gauge shells were the minimum for yotes to get the distance.
You guys are scaring me now... full cheek turn and heavy gloves, safety glasses...gee thanks. I will take pics of the pattern and shell casing when fired. 28" full choke barrel. Plan on shooting at 25 and 50 yards. Sat or Sun...if you don't hear from me Monday...well, just know, I went with a smile on my face...
All my reloading books show media with buckshot heavier than number 4 buck. If you follow a reloading book recipe you should be ok.
IMR data, poly shell, 2 3/4" load data. Only difference is "0" buck instead of "00" buck used.

Yes...that was good Snowwalker. Especially the last one...couldn't find the cheesse's though....lol
SO I went out Sunday to Range and fired 3 shells from this load. First was covered face shield, heavy gloves and shooting from mound protected. Shot straight down range. OK, that scary bit was over and I put up 2 X 3ft card and paced up 25yrds. First shot only 3 pellets on cardboard. Second shot - 8 pellets in target (fired on same target as first). The punch from shooting was less than #7 bird load, which I fired for comparison. Not sure if I could bump out powder safely, but happy with overall performance.
Seems odd that there is less kick on these loads.
Is the #7 bird load a handload as well?
No store bought loads for #7, lead. I thought it felt a bit light on the punch. Trying to post the pictures but it having a difficult time. Forum says I am over limit by 24.8 kilobits...whatever that means...arrgghh.
It has been a while since I did any reloading, all my stuff is in boxes in the garage :(.
I do remember something about wad pressure and crimp pressure being specific to heavy loads. I only reloaded target loads and light field loads in the 12ga but it may be worth looking into. My fear I guess with the light pop on your shoulder would be more about a lack of energy behind the pellets, a low velocity due to something.
It shouldn't matter #7 or buck. If the pellet load is the same weight and velocity is the same the recoil should be the same.
Ya, I understand that and used the right setting on MEC 600 for crimp and wad depth for 12 ga.
Killed a lot of those critters with 2 3/4 " # 2's up to 55 yards.Copper shot and buffer makes a huge difference.
All around best we found was BB's for shots a little longer.Drops em cold.
Lots of guys love 4 buck and larger buckshot for sure. But we found fewer pellets meant less success.
I used to reload and loaded a magnum duck load in low brass shells all the time and had no problems.
Did you try the loads with different chokes or just the one?
No only have the chokes that come with barrels. Still a rookie on choke theory and how it works. Trying pictures again
Damn...cant get the pics to load, rebooted and everything.
