A .223 and a .338 Lapua. That may stretch that $2,500 a bit but I suppose I could not be too picky about brands and maybe try to find something used - but that would kind of defeat the purpose of those two calibers.
And sxp.. A 22 semi.. SKS.. 270 22-250.. Lever action.. An over under.. A 22 bolt / break action for kids. Ummm.. I mag of hut my 2500..,I'm not worried about brands.. I want something that will make the bullet go. "Bang" when I pull the trigger..
I'd expect to wind up with about a dozen carefully chosen guns of various sizes. One of which would be a Marlin 38-55 or 45-70. A 243,a 22, a shotgun and a handful of handguns.
