I was there a couple of years ago and agree, a great place to get a tour.... You just can't imagine the amount of fur available... it seemed like the size of a walmart filled from top to bottom with fur... simply amazing was my experience.
i sometimes take my fur into there and it can be eye opening.They have 750.000 coon next auction but its the russians who buy the majority of them Which i duot will happen with sanctions imposed on them.It dont look good at all.

On a side note, one of my favourite public school field trips was going to the Fur Harvesters Auction house in North Bay. Left a lasting impression. Ive visited there many times since.
I'd hazard a guess that most school boards these days whould be aghast if a teacher wanted to take a bunch of children to a fur barn.

Well bow hunting for deer the other morning I had a coyote run 30 yrds and stop in my shooting lane so I killed it, Skinned it and have the pelt in the freezer. So if anyone knows of a place I can sell it or off loaded it please let me know. There's a lot of coyote on my 40 acre hunting grounds and am sure ill get a few more before the end of deer hunting. not sure anybody will pay you for a fresh pelt .you may have to give it to a local trapper .to sell you would have to scrpe and stretch the hide following the guide lines from the fur buyers it can be found on line .Dutch
