Why does she have to know? :)
Guilty conscious that why. Lol. Besides she comes out hunting with me. She's my favorite partner. More ways than one. I'd never pull that over her. She doesn't know the calibers. But she knows what they all look like.
Ruger Mini-30 is about all that remains on my list.
If .223 was as cheap as 7.62x39 I'd get a Mini-14, but its not even close.
i herd its coming on sale for 50% off... wink wink nudge nudge
browning BLR is what i really wanna get my hands on... but gotta alot of other stuff i gotta pay off before one of those graces my cabinet...

I'm afraid you'd be limited to 5 rounds only for that M305.
GLP's 6.5X55 featherweight. Lol. 😏
If I could find a gently used and unmolested waffletop in .30 I would be happy. Have a .35 now.
I just received the last rifle I wanted and sighted it in this morning. I am ok for a while now.
wrong
the AIA magazine is listed for a bolt action. so 10 rounds will work fine.
http://www.alflahertys.com/products/...s-308-10-round
re-read the act before saying false info.
heres the rcmp magazine bulleting see item 4.

Quote:
4. Magazines designed for one firearm but used in a different firearmThe maximum permitted capacity of a magazine is determined by the kind of firearm it is designed or manufactured for use in and not the kind of firearm it might actually be used in. As a consequence, the maximum permitted capacity remains the same regardless of which firearm it might be used in.
Example:
The Marlin model 45 (Camp Carbine) rifle chambered for 45 Auto caliber uses magazines designed and manufactured for the Colt 1911 handgun, therefore the seven round and eight round capacities are permitted. A similar example is the 10 round capacity magazine for the Rock River Arms LAR-15 pistol, regardless of the kind of firearm it is actually used in.

I stand corrected. Appreciate the link.
Is Bulletin 72 a recent update? The AIA M10 rifles in 7.62NATO have been available in Canada for a number of years....wasn't aware until today those mags are now legal for M14 rifles, very interesting!
BTW, any idea how well or not those mags load directly from stripper clips? Moreover, how well do those mags fit the M305/M14? Some years back, I sold off a couple of well moded M305s and a Springfield M1A ..... perhaps I was a bit hasty given the current regs concerning mag capacity. :)
OP - Apology for going a bit off track on your thread.
I've got all the practical guns I need for all my hunting and target shooting so all I want now are "fun guns" that serve no other purpose than to put lead down range. Top of my list would be a modern reproduction of an original Henry rifle.

I would really like a Cooper m57 in .22 custom classic with Newzeland walnut a skeleton grip cap , inlayed swivel studs ans a neider butt plate. Prophet river has it in stock for $4300 bucks. I could spend a lot of time drooling over the fine guns on that website.
