Just to follow up.... since you are buying your turkey tag maybe its best to buy your deer/bear and any others so you only get dinged once for that $2 transaction fee.... I only remembered after I bought me one turkey tag.... I should have purchased both tags and my deer license too....
Purchasing all the licences at once does not allow you to avoid the transaction fees.Quote:

You'll want to take your paperwork to a service center. The reason being, once you pass the exam, you can't just go online and purchase a tag, as your paperwork isn't filled, and in the system yet. By the time that happens, and by the time you buy it online, and by the time it ships to you, the season should be just about over.Quote:

The transaction fee isn't ideal, but it's still far cheaper than me having to drive 20 mins to a service ont kiosk and then purchase the tags. My time plus gas is significantly more than $2.00:)

I just went and tried to buy my second as a test and it's gone. Guessing the cut off has come and gone so tags aren't purchased and arrive after the opening day causing delays for hunters.

I have purchased my Turkey tags online in the past and no problem arriving within 7 to 10 days. I bought mine online March 30th and still not here. I called today and the person I talked to on the phone said that they had a problem with orders processed on that date. I should receive it by April 23rd. Cutting it a little close!!!! I guess next year I'll just go to the store and but them.

There is another post about tags not showing up, a few people called in and were informed there was a hiccup with the system in the last part of the month, and that all tags should be there before opener.
And if not? I guess I become a guide for my buddies!
I just received my tags in the mail. When I called last week they said they would be here by April 23rd. Glad that they are here. Good luck to everyone next Monday!
