It always amazes me when I talk to snowmobilers who aren't carrying a separate collision policy eg. $4500 covered trailer with two $15,000 machines in it. Can you imagine the colour of the dude's face when someone smacks you on the road, and you find out you swallowed a $45K pill. Same deal with boaters. Guys pulling $70,000 bass boats and they think they're covered under the tow vehicle policy. I carry it on anything that goes on the road - horse trailer, box trailer, skidoo trailer, boat trailer. It sucks paying the heavy premium, but sure as crap, the day I drop the coverage will be the day someone smokes me on the road. You folks all need to ask your broker specific questions about trailering, and get it in writing.
