I tried looking, maybe not hard enough, but where do I find the table that shows how many antler-less tags are available per WMU for 2015? Has this even been released yet?

I don't think it has been released yet, plus they have changed the website since last year. Hopefully they will make it available this year.
Yeah, I figured that might be the case. I'm going to wait for it before I enter the draw then.
Thanks for the response.
All I can find is the info on Pg.76 of the new regulations posted at www.ontario.ca/hunting by checking the tables under Anterless Deer tags. Hope this helps.
Those are last years results which probably gives me enough information, but two years ago I bought an extra tag in 46 and last year it dropped from 2000 to 500. I guess they got hit hard.
2 years ago in 49 they had 100% draw on doe tags and sold surplus tags. Now I would expect between 15-20% success on doe tags. Our area was decimated. Saw 5 wolves ( shot 1) and never saw a deer all week. We haven't been skunked at our camp in 20 years. Our neighboring camps were all skunked in 2014.
A guy I work with has a neighbour who found dozens of winter kill deer on his land after 2014. He said most of them were found in groups. Sad to hear.
This past winter in Parry Sound District was not that bad. It was an average winter at worst. We had a green Christmas (you could see my lawn) and snow depth wasnt much (around 65-70cm). I personally checked snow depths across the district several times. The only "bad" part was the cold snap in February. It was unusually cold.
Im not really concerned about this past winter. It wouldnt have knocked the deer down anymore then average.
I thought they would be released by now but I still can't find them. Is anyone did?
Thanks
Nope, haven't found them yet either.
Last year it was June 7th so I expect the release to be sometime this week.
Okay, thanks. I will keep an eye out.
Today,I went ahead and picked my two favorite WMU's,applied for a tag and entered the draw. Let the chips fall where they may. We have until June 30 to be on time.
Thanks for posting that!
Great...
does anyone have a link for the 2014 quotas?
2014 quotas:

Am I wrong or is it just my zones but the number of tags doesn't seem down in the areas I hunt? Are they trying to make up for the reduced moose tags?Dan O.
The two areas I hunt are exact same as last year 64a (1400) and 67 (400).
Why would they be down? This past winter wasnt that bad across most of central/southern ON.
They have been reduced in 2014 so no need to reduce them again. Not sure what you guys have been seen this year but I see deer pretty much every time I go out in 53a and 46.
Yeah, it wasn't bad at all this year. I'm likely going to put in for 46 again but not getting my hopes up too much.
Oh I'm see deer so I don't think the tags should be reduced either. Somehow I thought there was a rumor of even more reduction in tags but then it could have been just something I imagined. Perhaps it was the number of additional tags that would be available I assumed would be reduced? I've only been in the area I'm in now for a year so I have nothing to compare too. It seemed like a longer than normal winter to me but then I'm not a LOCAL yet. :)Dan O.
I am thinking of not getting a doe tag this year WMU 89 ...........going for horns only..........got my share of deer over the years.....feels good to watch them and give them a pass
3 years ago passed up on over 30 at bow range,,,,,,,,,,only went out 11 times last year.......still got a big buck
here is the deer with its tag...........we had to go through a stream .I was afraid of loosing the tag....it was tagged as soon as we got through the 14" of fast moving water

I gun hunt WMU 49 and bowhunt WMU 80. No changes for either of them. I know a lot of guys saw less deer in 49 last fall but in our area we had higher than average sightings. All but one were does and we had no doe tags. We'll try again this year and hope for at least one tag.
Just a reminder of rule 4(b) when it comes to posting photos:
Quote:
4(b). We love to see your photos, but these guidelines must be followed. Members posting photos of their success in the field or on the water, please note:
* You represent ALL hunters/anglers with material you post on this public forum.
* Post ONLY photos of tagged big game if the tag would normally be visible.
* Exclude “celebration" drinks from photos.
* Tastefully display your harvest (no excessive gore).
* Do not post photos of fish caught in catch and release-only seasons.
I have not seen as many fawns this year as in the past. Usually 4 or 5 seen in the spring and not one this year.
Last chance (for those who forgot to do it...) https://www2.on.wildlifelicense.com/start.php
hunting a different area this year and the tags are up from last year.....good sign!!
I applied for 46, odds aren't very good to get a tag this year. Kind of regretting not applying for 74b. I promised a friend I would go to his camp in 46. The family camp in 74b would have almost been a sure thing for a tag.
you got until 11;59 tonight June 30 to apply for anterless tags.............for 50.69 cents ......I put in for wmu 89,,,,,,,,said I wasnt but now I did
very smooth on web applying......just print it after
Tried on the Internet for 40 minutes couldn't get purchase window to come up. But just managed to get into draw using telephone at 11:59pm.
Wish their website functioned properly to avoid headaches like this.
The online system worked smoothly my wife at 10pm last night. Sure it wasnt a problem with your browser or computer?
Headaches are also typically avoided by doing things prior to the 11th hour....
Up till tonight it,s anterless for u tags but when are the extra tags coming up ?
Opens up July 15 I think to apply.
I don't know about that. I use Chrome with no issues at all for both Ontario and Alberta systems.
No additional tags again for wmu 90......wtf
You guys that get access to additional tags, your lucky...there hasn't been any in most of eastern Ont for probably 6 yrs now.
Sure limits the options for hunting with only one tag and you belong to a Hunt Camp :(
Yea it's probably closer to 10 yrs, I was trying to think back to when I had to make the first decision not to go to Hunt camp so I could hunt with my buddy during the ML season.
Not that it's a bad thing for the deer population mind you...few camps fill their poles anymore so it not like we are being overrun with Deer in this MWU.
Amazing how so many of us complain about Not getting a second tag.
It was only about 14 years ago that Second Tags became a reality.
Before that it was decades of One Buck Only and a few lucky one got their licence converted to Buck or a Doe. But always just a single tag.
It didn't take long before everyone thought multiple tags was normal.
It's not.
It was a fun bonus due to grand weather conditions balanced against hunter numbers.
I'm glad the MNR is not giving extra tags for 9B,10,11A this year. Sure we had the easiest winter in decades but that's not enough to compensate for two of the worst that preceded it.
It shows the MNR is actually thinking and not just out for a cash grab for extra tags.
2015 results will probably be in next year regs.at least it is same with moose applications and quotas...
however if you did not applied for antlerless already, now it is too late...all you can do is some additional tags...
