I’m looking but the price is too much.
Nope !!!!, still have not purchased my first one!
If you can ship your old one to Alberta, PM Grinr ...I hear he's looking for one :)
Will stick to my Equinox, not interested in something named Assassin.
I like my micro 355 but I use a c2 crank to load it .
Nope I have 2 already! lol
I might purge my Scorpyd Deathstalker soon... :)
I have a 380 which gets the job done, but would love the 355 micro. I bought one for my boy and would trade him in an instant, but he keeps saying no. Both have shot lots of deer, but weight and size of the micro is so nice. Sure the 380 would reach out further, but I don't take any long shots anyway.
There's a Ravin R10 for $1200 (fired 10 shots) in Orillia region regular price $2500.
I know zero about these crossbows, But its listed on gunnutz.
I traded a CZ 452 .22LR for a new Excal 308short. Love the bow, Sold my Phoenix for $400. The shorter limbs make getting around in the Bush so much easier, not getting snagged on limbs or anything.

Well I got the Excalibur’s assassin td420
Had to search under couch cushions twice with that the paradox and side by side 12 gauge made the deal
Simple to crank going to enjoy this for a while
I have a grey beard Horton Legend 150, shoots a 100 grain Rage at about 270 fps. Would love to upgrade but don't bow hunt enough anymore.
Rifle and shotgun hunts take up all of my time in the deer woods. Congrats to folks that bow hunt and take advantage of today's technology, it is amazing how far they have come!
I don’t think crossbows should be legal.........just kidding!!! I have a Browning, that I’ve had for at least 20 yrs plus. Shot lots of deer with it. I really like the Micros, but just can’t seem to justify the expense, when my old Browning has been a great bow. A buddy bought the Assassin and loves it.
Maybe next year .......
I've used an older PSE compound for years, but,I want to go the other way with a new recurve just for shytes and giggles.:D
Just got the new BassPro flyer.
Raven r29 ( $3,199.99) Raven r26 ( $2,499.99) bow case is another $400
WOW! fricken WOW!
If I had that much money I would buy a $700 crossbow and use the rest for a trip to Sask. or Alberta, or Newfoundland.
That's a ton of money to shoot 1 deer per year. Telling your friends you shot it at 90 yds is just stroking your ego.
and bears are usually 20 yds or less.
Just my opinion but I'm just a crotchety ol bugger with more common sense then money.
Have a Stryker ls. 390 and bulldog 400. No need for a new bow. These two should last a few years..
Why would anybody buy a $4000 US Optics or $3k+ Nightforce when a $600 VX3 has put millions of pounds of venison in freezers?
Why buy a $1800 fly rod when you can catch trout with an $89 Walmart combo?
$4k for custom set of golf clubs.....who do you think you are Jack Nicklaus?
Probly do just as well with the $20 garage sale set.
Don’t need a $600 hand forged custom leather sheath hunting knife either to skin a moose when $49 Outdoor Edge peels the bark off em just fine......but guys like buying nice shyt just becuz...
Men are just boys with paychecks.
That is the same as , some buy a jogging/ running shoe for $ 60 to $80 dollar range , then others pay $ 300, does it make sense ???
The same can be said for regular blue jeans verses designer jeans for hundreds of dollars, why???
In most cases they both have the same life span.
Believe it or not Ravin is asking what the market will bare. Some people can afford it and they buy them... :)
Sooner or later the crossbow market will tank & some of the smaller companies won't be able to compete... :(
No matter what anybody says Excalibur is still the smart choice cross-bow to own as far as self sufficient maintenance & the ability to change strings and limbs with ease if needed. They might not be fast but if I was hunting remotely I wouldn't even consider using my compound crossbow... :)
My Micro 335 even shoots crappy arrows like they are customs... lol
The Excalibur 420td assassin is extremely hard on bolts

Old saying: The difference between men and boys are the price of their toys.
But I agree there are some over the top prices on a lot of Bows , and guns.
I just pulled the trigger on a Excalibur G340. First shot was 4” high at 30y. Adjusted the scope. Next two were within an inch of bull.
I got a great deal on a Matrix 380 at the end of last season because my brother got a micro 355.
im shooting an equinox gifted through family. love it and wont be putting it down during bow season...
Those new excaliburs are nice. The 420 is a nice crossbow.. I have a ls 390 and bulldog and a older exomax which was gifted by my uncle. The older and newer crossbows just work fine. But buying new toys is nice. Lol...

Picked this up for moose hunting this year just to try something different. I’ve shot Excalibur for years and planned to buy an assassin until I handled both bows . This thing is only 6.5 inches axel to axel cocked
