Old saying: The difference between men and boys are the price of their toys.
But I agree there are some over the top prices on a lot of Bows , and guns.

WOW! fricken WOW!
If I had that much money I would buy a $700 crossbow and use the rest for a trip to Sask. or Alberta, or Newfoundland.
That's a ton of money to shoot 1 deer per year. Telling your friends you shot it at 90 yds is just stroking your ego.
and bears are usually 20 yds or less.
Just my opinion but I'm just a crotchety ol bugger with more common sense then money.
Wow! Glad I shoot a recurve!

I just pulled the trigger on a Excalibur G340. First shot was 4” high at 30y. Adjusted the scope. Next two were within an inch of bull.

I did the same sold my matrix 380 and bought a micro 355. Not sure if I did the right move , I can't draw the 355 without the crank. Could with the 380.

Those new excaliburs are nice. The 420 is a nice crossbow.. I have a ls 390 and bulldog and a older exomax which was gifted by my uncle. The older and newer crossbows just work fine. But buying new toys is nice. Lol...

Picked this up for moose hunting this year just to try something different. I’ve shot Excalibur for years and planned to buy an assassin until I handled both bows . This thing is only 6.5 inches axel to axel cocked
