Yup and Liberals on here are happy as pigs in .....
See the part that pisses me off the most is this stupid list makes no sense, but they also keep saying over 200 have been added but no one can find the make a d model of those 200 making it way more complicated to see if my wife and I can go shoot or are we gonna made examples of for being out with a gun that is prohibited but we never knew about?
I'm sure the list will continue to grow.
Hope the CCFR injunction is successful in court and the whole process comes to a grinding halt till the next election is over.....if the Cons can get their chit together.....
Even if my rifle/shotgun is NOT on the list, by the time it's taken away because of a "mistaken " identification. I attend court and have it returned( if it can even be found in the basement). I will have paid out Thousands of dollars for legal costs lost my job( firearm charges are likely to remove my security clearance and void my passport).
What will I get back? A beat up scratched firearm with missing parts, or that is simple broken.
This will never stop as long as we have : The Look kills approach.
A jack knife has more history of murder in this country then any of those guns on the list combined. The far left heads explode when you reference knives in a comparison, even though they've killed at the same rate as gun for decades. You know how it goes.....but,but,but what if?
Has anyone noticed how quiet our resident Liberal "They're not banning anything and you guys are all full of conservative bullshyte" forum members have been ever since they were made to look like fools ?
Please don't rattle their chains, it's been rather pleasant on the forum lately..
X2-surprisingly quiet, friendly, business like and rather good camaraderie.
Except here and there one( few ?)of the usual "i know it all-and all of that better then anyone else"Member(s) trying to push his(their ?)most of times irrelevant comments and/or agenda, the Forum has gone thru some pleasant changes.Way to go.......
I just read an internet article from the Globe and Mail this morning that said my .22 Mossberg 715T semi-auto has been listed by the RCMP as a prohibited weapon. This is absolutely ridiculous!! A rimfire an assault weapon??
X2
They gun rasist lol.
If its black and scary it must be banned to save the public from appearances [emoji107]
Still tho to be honest the homicide are only small numbers compared to the overdose deaths more are dying each day then the gta have seen homicides all year.
It's out of the public eye right now from covid 19 but 113 people died in the month of March in bc alone from overdoses . Only 30 homicides in the gta all year. But spend millions on bans that kill only a small percentage.

Hmmmm........what about a Black Guns Matter movement!!??
.......or is that below the line?
GW. You sure you are not a closet liberal? You seem to know an awful lot about how they think.:ninja:
Are we missing a opportunity here.
All those registered guns now prohibited where stolen by looters last night
I see the CCFR got a video from Jim Shockey.....his view...it's a loss of the 'public trust' with the Government... I tend to agree..

I've seen that there is at least one retail casualty so far.
Lake Huron Rod and Gun is going out of business.
Just pointing out that some people on here are all for carding someone based on appearances, but to apply the same rules to guns, is a no no.
I am baffled how you can go from seizing my legally owned property to asking someone for ID. Not even remotely similar.
Carding is not based on looks alone. Carding is based on a complete situation - the looks of the person, the time of day/night they are out and the neighborhood or area they may be congregating in. I'm all for it!
You can ask any Toronto cop, carding was a very important tool. You should not be going against the grain since you guys are brothers from another mother. One for all and all for one........the great union of government workers!!!
Being judged by appearances alone IS what it is about. Guns or people , it is wrong. You are carded while hunting to prove you have the paperwork to engage in that activity. Carding people for walking down the street, is not the same thing. I was 'carded' last weekend by the OPP while in my boat, I had to prove I had the boaters card, that enables me to participate in that activity, appropriate , yes. If I am questioned and 'carded',because I am walking down the street, appropriate, no.
GW ,you remember that carding 40 years later, now imagine that it happens to you weekly, see how that, is a 'big deal' ?
MNR checks hunt camps, writes down everyone’s particulars, guns carried, lic. Plates......etc, etc, I don’t hear any whining about that......same thing ! Police chiefs across the province warned of increased criminal activity, weapons use......when so called “carding” was banned... I guess they were right!!!
But ‘nuff said “off topic”....
What's been called "carding" to day was call community policing in those days.
Police stopped and talked to people all the time. Kids got "Harassed" as you call it, all the time. Over the course of time the cop car stopping and officers talking to preteen or teen age boys walking with dead rabbits and slingshots has gone from the friendly reminder to behave to being call a violation of civil rights.
I worked for an Inspector, once, who had an uncanny ability to succinctly put this issue into perspective we all could relate to if (when) in this situation. He asked us "If you would not treat a white person that way,why would you treat a black (brown, red) person like that?" That was the last remark made in that lecture. There was 35 of us in the class and I could see 35 light bulbs go on all at the same time.
As PAL holders, we get carded every day...... IMO.... I think carding was a very good tool, now if the tool was being used inappropriate by some, then those some should have been giving training or consequences.... Throwing the baby out with the bath water, did not do any good with the communities it was to serve..
Hmmm,FMcC-did You ever attended "any"training for job search, being prepared for job interviews and such?
What did they say?First and foremost, make sure You (anyone)to look presentable.First impression can and will make or break the prospects of getting the job?
Prejudice or not-that is just the way it is.
So if it goes one way(so important)then why the "other ways around"-carding based on only looks(as You mentioned)comes as a major surprise?
By the way- never seen a carding never witnessed a carding and never talked to anyone about carding here(back home-all the times).
But-even though i do not have first(even second hand)experience about it,i hardly doubt that the carding was triggered many times just and only based on looks.
Compounded with being in "bad"area-bad time-companions-behavior-previous knowledge of individuals etc,yes ,i can see it.
Back home-it was normal,no one ever took offence to it,many times it was even welcomed (it was keeping a lid on"bad"boys and showed the presence of law and order). But hey-that is just my 2 cents.
The list was intended to be "Ever Green" meaning that the RCMP can add to it whatever and whenever they see fit. This is very dangerous for all firearms owners, not just owners of modern sporting rifles. By definition, a 12 gauge shotgun is prohibited, even though Bill Blair says it isn't. Who would you rather put your faith in, a Lawyer or a MP who has a track record of lies and untruths, backed by a Government who deals only in lies and scandal.
Banning more guns will do nothing.
Banning handguns will do nothing.
It's been the same for the last 30 year's
Check out the first story he talks about.
When do you learn when when there is no punishment to learn from? No punishment no lessons to learn from. They know they can do what ever they want to, and well if they get caught oh well they will be back at it in no time.
Its part of the problem I know first hand the justice system has been lacking it does nothing to deter criminals. They just do as they please and there ain't nothing stopping them.

Everyone join CCFR.....seriously join!
I have come across a few people (I don`t know them) on other sites that claim they have spoke to the RCMP and told them nobody should be out hunting anymore as pretty much all firearms are now illegal and that hunting using firearms has effectively been banned.
With all this secrecy from the RCMP now banning guns without even telling anyone what is banned. Essentially we are all now criminals.
Has anyone else come across this?
