Ugh! 15-25 cm of Snow - Lake Superior
The bush is just about snow-free and I just took the snow tires off the car yesterday! Shoot me please.
Snowfall warning in effect for:
- Marathon - Schreiber
- Nipigon - Rossport
Heavy snow and local blowing snow tonight into Monday. 15 to 25 cm likely.
Rain will develop early this evening but should quickly change to snow as temperatures drop. Snow may fall heavily at times tonight into Monday with snowfall rates of a few centimetres per hour possible at times. Total amounts of 15 to 25 cm are likely, particularly inland from Lake Superior.
In addition, northerly winds gusting to 50 km/h will result in areas of poor visibility due to blowing snow.
Travel along Highway 11 and 17 will be hazardous at times tonight into Monday.

Yep! Like they say in Moosonee: 8 months of winter and 4 months of poor snowmobiling weather.

Has too much time on their hands
Sad news from the tropics, Sam.
We haven't seen a blade of grass in the North yet, but we're hoping!
My family in Kenora is a bit disappointed though.
