2023 Sportsman Show
The retrievers are coming back at the 2023 Toronto Sportsmen’s Show!!
This year there will be daily retriever demonstrations - morning and afternoon - as well as a retriever trial later in the day (exact times to be determined). A final trial will be held on the Sunday afternoon with the top two dogs from each of the Thursday thru Saturday competitions to be "Top Dog".
There will be dog handlers, trainers and retriever club members available thru out the days to answer your questions or help you find a club to join.
The show will take place Thursday March 16 to Sunday March 19th, 2023 at the International Centre in Mississauga (by the airport).

I have never been to the sports man show. Are you allowed to walk around with your dog?

Thanks for posting that Dakota Creek. Glad to see it's back.
PS I don't know sabmgb. Seems highly unlikely to me but.....

Here is the schedule for the dogs at the Sportsman Show. As well as the retriever demonstrations, we will also have the MNR Enforcement K9 team there and the Georgian Bay HRC will be demonstrating shed hunting.
As well, there will be preliminary retriever
trials held Thursday thru Saturday with the finals on Sunday afternoon.

No ..... if you look at the schedule you will see that there will be morning and afternoon demonstrations 10:30 - 11:30 and 1:30 - 2:30).
There will be trial preliminaries held 4:30 - 6:30 Thursday thru Saturday with the finals being held on Sunday afternoon.
