Default Online hunters education course for 12 year Olds?

Hello. My 12 year old wants to get his hunting license. Is there an online option? I had heard there was since the covid Era.
    Thanks in advance
    Rob.

I sure hope not. in person should be the only way to get a hunting license. to many people cheat with on line courses and learn nothing. Take you boy to a hunter safey course by a qualified instructor he will become a much better hunter

The course isn't difficult and best done in person. My son did his at age 12, 7 years ago

I just did the online course from them to qualify as a hunter in B.C. and the NWT.
What others have said is absolutely correct; your son will learn more in person, but the course is interesting and I think it was free.
And I took my certificate to my local ENR office and it was accepted. As well, the BCWILD site accepted it so I can go chase Mulies in November.

My grandson is 10 years old and itching to go hunting , just ducks to start with. I told him long ago he had to be as tall or taller than my shotgun and he past that last year. At what age can he start legally ? Either way I will take him out this year if just for the experience.

I believe 12 is when they can take the hunting course and a form of the PAL, which has to be upgraded when they turn 18. At least this was how it used to be. My kids are way past that now so it may have changed.
