Looking for a .22 for small game, any recommendations? I have thought about some of the air compression options but they are quite pricey in comparison to the traditional models. I want to get out chasing squirrels while also working on my shot. I'm open to purchasing a used one as well if anyone is selling.

    Thanks

Do you want a rim fire .22 or an Air Rifle in .22 Calibre?

Bolt actions are good for making you think about each shot, because you can't just keep pulling the trigger.

Savage has a great selection of bolt actions.

i picked up the savage 64. for a cheap little plinkster it does the job and doesn't break the bank. i dont use it near enough but it is alot of fun when i take it out. does the job for me whenever i want to shoot tree rats, gopher or the odd pest around the house...

I am in Toronto......I was debating some of the options out there. air rifle being one of them. But I think I prefer the traditional rimfire, especially in terms of price. Sounds like the Savage might be the way to go
