They say the large earth quake and tsunami a few years ago shifted the earths axis and seasonal changes are going to be delayed a month and a half to two months. But the summer and winter solstice are the same so I don't see how that could be true. Unless they are calculating the solstice based on the new wobble.
Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.

I often read that the changes are natural, not due to human activity but the fifty year studies of lake trout breeding shows that in central Ontario the trout are in trouble because of warmer winters. ( they actually hatch too soon and their food supply is not there yet because it depends on length of daylight) Many years all the fry starve.....

Few people say that there isn't a warming trend going on - the disagreement comes in when some say that it is because of humans burning fossil fuels -

Exactly!!. Warming and cooling trends have been happening forever, IMO the human effect is mostly insignificant in the big picture.
There are some very interesting reports out there from elders in the native communities of the far north who say that navigating by the stars has changed over the years, they don't end up where they used to in the past. Basically they're suggesting that the Earth has shifted on it's axis. Makes much more sense to me than all the malarkey being thrown out there by the green machine, specially when it seems to totally revolve around money, with no positive proof that it's actually making any difference at all.
Cheers

I think the government is trying anything to help the dwindling bee problem....Good on them....If there was ever a problem worth "Trying something" this is definitely it....Two things in nature you don't mess with....Bats and Bees....Both of witch are in serious decline....I put up a bat house last year....Went on a buddies property cut two whip straight trees 16ft long and put it up....What is really impacting the bat population is feral/outdoor cats....Now that is a scourge in this provence and country for that matter! They kill more song birds and baby animals then natural mortality, predation, and migration combined.

I agree that the earth is warming and the wind has increased in a huge way across Ontario. I think it us part of a bigger change going on.the climate change we hear about on the news everyday is just a cash generation. Climate has been changing from the beginning of time and is nothing new.
