And with the price of beef, it is nice not to have religious restrictions on the diet. Fish is getting very expensive as well.
I am starting to see more things coming back to the shelfs that I could not find for years. Beef tongue, ox tail, pigs feet, I just wish I could find more lamb and goat, or rabbit.
Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.

Some pretty cheap feeder fish to be had at the pet stores.
Real fresh too.
Fry the little suckers up.
Gee....i wonder if fish flakes are on the menu?
You know...the food you feed the fish?
Sprinkle it on toast perhaps?

My attitude towards you depends upon how you have treated me.

Rabbit... free for the taking, just the cost of a 22 or SG shell, a lot cheaper then Zehrs. My neighbor raises meat rabbits, also sells them for home raising.
Buddy hauls lamb and goat to the abattoir weekly, just find ethnic grocery stores.

Not so easy in London.. been to a couple store and they keep telling me they have no goat or lamb.... maybe next week. One guy just came right out and told me to my face..."no meat for you, I no sell to people like you.. now leave!"

I mean it's a cheap alternative to expensive fish.
What's in those fish flake foods?
Probably high in protein.
Can't hurt to try it.
