Yup she purrs like a kitten and is quiet. I will head over to the Honda dealer next week and get some good 2 stroke oil, clean the filter and if necessary the carb. Thanks lads will let you know how she runs.

Toss a can of Seafoam on your list and add a smidgen to your gas. That should clean the carb without having to tear it apart. There'll be lots of Seafoam left for use in your other small gas engines--lawnmower, o/b motor, snowblower, chainsaw, ATV etc.

See if they carry Amsoil 2 stroke 100% synthetic, can't beat that stuff, never fouls up the plug.

Yep, that's all I use. They even say that it's so good you can use that stuff at 100:1 on engines that are rated for 50:1. Not that I would do that anyway. All my small engines get high test with no ethanol and a dose of seafoam, which I swear by. Tune-up in a can I call it. Plus it's a great stabilizer and phase separation inhibitor.

    Cheers

Clean everything, new plug, new air filter, new fuel filter and clean the carb, it is the only way to actually know what you have.

If you just put in new fuel and oil and clean the filter you are no where near finding out what it is fresh, cleaning a small engine carb is very simple.
