You have to match the firearm right

We are talking Russian SKS though, for the Chinese version it would be something like this.

There will always be anti-gun, anti-hunter, anti everything people. Pay no attention to them. Guns are super fun.

Always enjoy plinking with my guns.

Your SKS is a lot of fun, but you'll likely get it down to "minute of barn door", instead of MOA....however, just about as much fun as you can have with your pants on anyhow.
Minute of barn door. Not sure if you've own one or not but I have a Russian model and it is very accurate. Iron sights and all. Line052 will attest. From about 70 yards out from prone position I could take a golf ball off a tee over and over again. For a fun rifle can't get much more accurate than that. In fact, because of the sights on it I feel i am more accurate with it than I am with my 30/30 open sights. Other than that I tend to still enjoy my guns. Making my own targets. Spent co2 pellet gun canisters make great little targets. I always pick up my garbage when I leave. Or use vegetables. They make great little targets and food for the critters.

    Fox,

I wouldn't worry about the uppities who get their gitch in a not when they see something they don't approve of. Those same people scream the loudest when their spotlight is turned on them. Go out, be safe and shot until your heart is content (or your shoulder is sore).

Some are, some aren't. By and large the SKS was never intended to be an accurate rifle. A lot of the Russian Tula ones seem to fare better in that dept than others. My type 56 is actually quite accurate, but can be inconsistent.

Much of the inconsistencies are less about the rifle than the Milsurp ammo being fed. But we could go on and on about SKSs. One of my faves.

For me the fun starts the minute I pull the trigger and hear "Bang".

I love the smell of cordite on a crisp cool morning when the guns are pounding down range...used to spends weeks on the ranges shooting with the military and it never got old.

Still surprised there is no Febreze scent for it, would be a great Air fresher for the man cave

I just leave a bunch of cloths soaked in CLP lying around...it seems to do it for me.
