They've been sitting on this since last summer. Something has to happen fairly soon. Keep us posted.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Public Consultation - Firearms Discharge By-law Update
The City of Hamilton is conducting a comprehensive review of the Discharge of Firearms By-Law. Attend an upcoming public meeting to provide your comments to City staff on the proposed by-law changes.
Why is the City reviewing the by-law?
- To update the map(s) where the discharge of firearms is prohibited to incorporate recent and future urban development for consultation with the affected land owners and stakeholders. Review the Proposed Boundary Expansion Map (PDF, 1 MB)
- To provide clear interpretation and understanding of the by-law’s provisions; reinforce federal/provincial firearm regulations; maintain public safety; and acknowledge/recognize the different aspects of bows vs common firearms to balance the varied needs of the community.

I am also thankful that Mr.McRae, OFAH and probably some others that I am unaware of have had a voice in these discussions. These are the folks who know the system, can share their knowledge with those who may have some misconceptions about hunting, firearms and archery.
