I agree, absolutely, besides the fact that mere possession of the registry data outside the court order by anyone would be illegal and could be charged with contempt of court, just for starters. I also don't believe that The Liberal Party of Canada is interested in setting themselves up for another stunning defeat over the issue in the next election, especially,in light of the current total meltdown of the Ontario Liberals poised to be permanently banished to the political garbage heap of history and the unmitigated disaster the Trudeau government is turning into. Another gun control final nail-in-the-coffin isn't the most intelligent move, politically.

Privacy law will be hard to get around for Quebec trying to get info passed over to them. The easier way of gun control is to unleash the RCMP to change the class of many guns, therefor getting rid of more scary looking guns....

I think there's enough political heat coming down on them to give them pause before they blindly follow their Liberal masters over the abyss.

It gives the Government and Police a starting point. Many out there if they were to receive a call from the Police to confirm if they own a specific gun or not. Old data can still be useful.

If I were to receive a call from someone asking about firearms, I'd just hang up on them. Let's be real here? Law enforcement agencies are not about to start calling, visiting or attending hundreds of thousands of homes to verify whether or not people still own firearms listed on a defunct registry.

Than again hundreds of thousands voluntarily registered them didn't they.
Many of them would do it again even if they don't like it.

    Angry

Brian Lilley reports the shocking news that despite repeated assurances that the gun registry data had been destroyed, copies remain and C-52 will hand over the data to Quebec.

Showing videos of the RCMP and Blaney saying the data is destroyed.... once again theRebel covering what the media won't. RCMP and bureaucrats ignoring legal decisions .... why isn't it surprising anymore.
