Try not to laugh at me and I know it sounds odd but I always leave them off the Muzzleloaders as it affects accuracy and consistency.
It can be put on but I opt for a three piece collapsible ramrod in a belt sheath.
I think this one shoots well enough for a Boyd's thumbhole Coyote stock set....

Very nice group, it is definitely a shooter.
I'm glad you can shoot well!
Are you up for part 2?
I have some new bullets on their way and will give it another go with all 4 builds and could use the help again. I plan to go to max loads on the precision build to see if I can break the 3000 fps mark.
Really need to trim this flock to 3 ML's just need to finish testing first!

I am all for it, although it doesn't allow me a repeatable cheek weld, but close enough to get an evaluation.

I think I may have a cheek pad for you to use.
I'll call you when the bullets get here.

Yep, give me a call and we'll see if we can improve it any more or at least stretch its legs to at least 300. It'd be a hoot to bang the 300 yd gong with a front stuffer.
3000 fps with a 458 would be stepping. I have never shot near that velocity even in a center fire 458. I think one of my hog loads was maybe 2200 or 2300 fps max. Even with my 375 H&H mag with 300gr pills I think I only get about 2600-2700 max.

Not laughing Jack. Makes sense to me.
