I'm required to have a paddle of some kind. One or two, I'm not sure as it seems redundant. The boat is a Legend 18XTR. I don't believe I could paddle it if I wanted to, lol. What do you others use on your larger boats??
The world is 70% water, might as well fish it.

Excellent thoughts stragglelake. I have added both to the list.

I have an expandable paddle to satisfy the Regs. My boat is too large to paddle as well. I have a kicker motor that I won’t leave the dock without.
I fish Erie, so some days it’s a 15 mile run out....a good properly installed marine radio is a must for big lakes.

A bimini (spelling) to keep the UV off your carcass. Will keep the melanoma at bay, and awful nice for shade on 30+ days. Transom saver rod for trailering.

A paddle OR anchor is the requirement, one or the other or both...........

Manual propelling device OR anchor with 15 m (50') of rope.

I have had a 16 ft Legend since 2092, and was happy w it until 2018, when I had a whole bunch of rivets start to leak!
Took it to Barrie legend for repairs since my Ft. Erie dealer closed up, and Barrie Legend took over FOUR months to fix it!!
Swore after that happened that I would NEVER buy another Legend if I could afford another boat!
