Not for a GPS as far as I know.
I use a DOgtra 2500 which allows me at least to know where my dog is up to about 1+ miles depending on the terrain.

Sportdog tec2.0 I believe is legal in Canada. Or go back to a telemetry collar.
The dogtra2500 is a ecollar with a beeper.
The sportdog tec2 is a GPS based system.

Many including Dakota Creek- member on here. Just PM her.
PS I forgot to say that yes the Dogtra 2500 has a beeper but you have 3 choices of beeping. I use it on the silent beeper mode if I'm wondering where the heck the dog is. One other choice is to have the beeper start up when the dog is on point.

The way I understand is I order the unit to a p.o box say in Buffalo and go over and pick it up. I can't go into the states. I need to find a supplier who will deliver to Canada if that's possible?

No supplier in Canada . You have to pick it up in the USA; the law is there for a reason ; personally I choose to follow it.
