1. There is no smaller MINORITY than the human individual(since we know you all are ALL about minorities)
2. There is no more sacred space in society than a man's home. Almost all civilized law recognizes that.(guess who doesn't)
3. Self defense is a right granted by God not loony leftie governments. Ever animal exhibits and recognizes self defense.
You libs persecute and prosecute those that defend themselves and their loved ones, yet fight like the 3rd monkey on the ramp of the ARK to defend a bear that has defended it's family and injured or killed a hiker(human).

Self reflect and realize how irrational and horrible a society is that gives 10 million to a terrorist, actively embraces and supports every vile and immoral act, has no property rights, seizes property without due process, actively suppresses freedom of self defense, has laws for two different groups(3 if you count criminals as a group)of the public so step down carefully off you high horse your highness, princess or what ever fits you.

Hahahahaha.......goddamn Liberals and their skewed sense of reality. I grew up in Jane and Finch, and I can whole heartedly tell you violent crimes happened everyday and still do. I dont know where you live but you obviously havent spent much time in low income housing areas.

So then why do you even care if you are going to be charged and have to defend yourself in court?

Honestly, if you have to shoot and kill someone who is coming into your home to kill you or someone in your family then I would much rather have a court case than be dead, so who really cares what the laws are, it is not like you are going to keep from shooting and be killed because you do not want to defend your actions in court.

There are consequences to your actions, positive and negative, you use your judgement and I will use mine, I do not fear anyone will be coming in through my door to kill me.

Violent crime numbers in Canada are very low and your chances of being involved in one goes way down if you simply do not commit crimes yourself.

The rate of homicide in Canada in 2012 was 1.56/100,000, attempted murder was 1944/100,000. In the US the rate of homicide was 4.5/100,000, that is 2.88x greater murder rate in Canada than in the US and guess what, we cannot legally walk around with loaded guns all over the place and have loaded guns laying about in our homes. Oh, and I forgot, when was the last time a 3 year old shot and killed their mother in Canada? I do not recall that every happening, but it has happened multiple times in the US.

CANADA IS NOT THE US, STOP THE FEAR.
