Default Bear and Deer at the same stand?

I deer hunt a small land crossing between 2 spots. Great pinch point, and also has bear traffic.
Thinking about bear hunting this fall, if I bait that spot for a couple months, will it deter the deer come Nov?
Don't want to ruin a good deer location, but think its just as good of a bear location from my trail camera results.

    thanks,

I think it depends on how much bear traffic you create from baiting. I know I've shot deer, an elk, a bear and saw moose in the same field. But never baited for any of them. Just let nature take its course and had a bit of luck.

I don't bait bears at my best deer spots, but I had a camera up at a mineral lick. Ten minutes after a bear was there a deer arrived. Surprised me as that bear scent would be still extremely strong.

We had a bait out, lots of bears coming in and the largest deer tracks I have seen right past the bait.

I have bear hitting my deer bait every single fall until the bears head to bed. I have trail cam pics of both species at the same time. The deer always leave when the bear come and go right back to eating when the bears leave. I have seen bear and deer in the same afternoon sits on multiple occasions.

From my experience the bear will come to deer baits like apples and corn oats and barley but deer will avoid stinky bear baits.

We have deer walk a trail that's 10yds from bait, trees scarred from deer same distance from bait. Use the same stand for bear and deer hunting as the bears still hit bait regularly in November.

We bait a couple of stands for bear in Sept and have noticed a decline in deer production from those same stands over the years.

Could be other factors of course but it has had us questioning whether to continue baiting for bear at those particular stands.

We had a guy losing it on us for baiting on the property when deer hunting, we shot more deer those years than any other years and more around the baits. I bet something else has changed, maybe the trees are too big to be their ideal now, I would not be blaming the baits.

I bait bears for 7 months every year. Found out the game warden hunts deer about 100 yards from my bait for deer. Last year they started eating to many of his apples.
