I keep hearing that pot is bad for you, but I don't know of any facts that prove it?? I have however heard of many benefits.

That could be very true many will but people will also buy it . I believe most of the good stuff gets burned out if you smoke it. More benifits in the edibles

Interesting that ex police chiefs like Julian Fantino and Bill Blair are lining up at the trough like little pigs trying to make a buck of it now after being vehemently apposed to it before.
    Shameless !!!

This potential new revenue stream will not be used to reduce debt. It will be entirely used for liberal reelection purposes. This government does not have a revenue problem. It has s spending problem and no moral compass.
I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

I grew up in the 70's and 80's so yeah we smoked a hell of a lot of weed. I'm not anti weed, far from it. I find it extremely hypocritical for government to get into the business knowing if is harmful to your health. You wanna smoke, no problem grow your own, we used to. Many of my neighbors do. Good for them. But to sell it knowing it's bad for you should be grounds for class action suits.
Smoking cannabis is bad for you. There is other safe ways of ingestion. Why do you think thousands of Canadians are prescribed cannabis to treat a medical illness. Alcohol is bad for you that is fact. Cannabis has so many symptoms it can treat. It wouldn't be a prescribed medication if it was bad for you. I don't understand why people try to campare it to alcohol, not the same, not even close. Until society gets educated about cannabis, they will continue to believe it must be bad for you . That seems the same song with most things people know nothing about.....

The thing is that the mafia has infiltrated governments. Very lucrative to launder money and make it legit from the proceeds of gambling, alcohol, prostitution and now drugs where once it was the realm of the underworld. And let us not forget the construction industry, trades, teamsters, etc...

There is not one deer camp that I went to over the decades where there was at least a couple of lads young and old who would light one up in the evening and play cards or chat. No issue after the days hunt is over. I have seen far worse with some guys abusing the alcohol so to each his own poison. As a matter of fact I found the guys fresher in the morning and ready to hunt versus the booze hounds nursing a hangover.
Moderation is also the key in both cases though.

It has not been proven that Cannabis treats symptoms , it can only alleviate some of the pain associated with some illness's, maybe because you can get a high from it and start thinking about other things other that the pain you have.
It does in a lot of cases , ease the pain for some cancer sufferers, but it has not treated their cancer.

Speaking with 2 doctors that have prescribed it for their patients, they have only their patients word that the cannabis is helping them , they have not seen any physical proof that the cannabis has treated their patients illness.

Talk to the hundreds and hundreds of people who use it, it is not just for pain. Cancer patients use it after chemo so that the nausea goes away and they can actually eat. PTSD is treated and treated a lot more effectively than prescription drugs, ask some veterans and first responders with PTSD what they think of pot.

Sure smoking it can cause some problems but when people compare tobacco to weed they are comparing the same amount of each smoked, not too many people smoke the equivalent of 2 packs of king sized a day, sure, some do, but the majority of users do not smoke anything near that, even people who would be considered chronic.

According to the Medical Profession, PTSD is best treated with counseling, I have a couple of acquaintances that have gone through it , and at no time were they ever prescribed cannabis to treat them,

Actually the resin extract can heal certain types of skin cancer with topical application and oral ingestion...not to mention it inhibits certain types of carcinogens and its healing properties are still vastly unexplored so nobody really knows its potential yet. Much like those that said the earth was flat, were justly uninformed and pushed opinion as fact.
