Hydro and the MNR have completely different fundings. MNR is severely underfunded as you probably know. Yet you think they should prepay for a stamp for everyone even though 90% of us will do it online?
If $1 is that valuable to you, your in the wrong sport.
These are truly first world problems.
Just do your part. there truly are some good people within the MNR trying to do the right thing, even though they don't get enough funding. Your information might just help them out.

I think you are missing the point......It's not the dollar, it's the mismanagement of my funds by the government that is the problem. (likely others feel the same)

And the mismanagement isn't simply restricted to the MNRF.

We do like to complain. The op was talking about the mnr not providing paid postage for returning questionairs. I think they got it right to give us the option of submitting free on line or paying the postage. Give them a break ....... they got it right (this time)

not missing the point, I can't stand the way this gov't pi$$es my tax dollars away. But punishing one level of the gov't that is completely underfunded already isn't making any kind of a point.
We all complain about poachers and the lack of enforcement by an underfunded branch of the gov't and yet we then want them to waste more money so your not out the price of a stamp if you can't do it online. I find that really funny from people who are typing on an online forum to complain in the first place. Its not like they don't have online access.
Complain all you want about the billions the liberals have wasted or stolen from us, but complaining about the MNR not prepaying your postage is outrageous.

Well next year we will be able to save the MNRF even more money as we will be printing our own licenses..........Sadly that won't eliminate the $2+HST admin fee.

yes sir, and I think printing my own licence is a great step, and if it puts more money into enforcement I'm all for it.

$1 x 2= $2 if online is so great why did they mail these questionnaires out in the first place? I suppose you are one of those people who are happy with online hunting and fishing regs. as well. If I receive hard copy I presume they want answer in hard copy!
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst!

There is only one government and they are totally out of control.
Especially in Ontario.
If you like the MNR so much I am sure they would accept any donations you would send them. LOL
