Religion is supposed to promote peace, acceptance and understanding, yet it is so ironic that so called religious followers kill because of differing religious views.

That was your really silly comment... but you also seem to dismiss the real impact for good, most don't like looking at both sides of a question so I will leave it there.

For most religions that is very true, but for Christianity let's see, it took Lee Strobel and Josh McDowell about 2 years of looking and investigating before they were convinced. C.S. Lewis spent years in discussions with Tolkein. Nabeel Quereshi says his discussions with a Christian that actually had some answers went on for four years. How long would you spend?

It isn't that the proof isn't there, it is that so many won't look, don't want to or have made up your mind and set the criteria impossibly. The atheist can think that protein, protein synthesis, cell membranes, DNA synthesis and RNA can all come together by chance and the universe popped out of nothing. Between the biology, history and the texts themselves it is alot easier to believe than goo to you by way of the zoo route. I mean if a Oxford prof. (C.S. Lewis), Phd in molecular biophysics (Alister McGrath), and even Christopher Hitchen's brother can be convinced by looking, the question isn't the evidence, it is the one looking. Heck it was a book on archaeolgy that got me taking Christianity much more seriously so ..... ah never mind, you made up your mind and don't want to know it seems.

Well that is a given that what so many Liberal's believe is fiction. History, science etc. don't matter to them and their ideology. Truth should change the way a person reacts, their goals, their thoughts and so many don't want to have anything to do with it because of that and their pride or their "me" attitude!

NO ONE deserves to be saved God doesn't give forgiveness to those that don't ask and mean it..... so IF he honestly repented and believed.... sure why not, after all no one deserves to be there. But I would sooner get to meet Corrie Ten Boom, Saul of Tarsus aka Paul (another hater converted), C.S. Lewis etc. There will be lots of interesting people that will receive the forgiveness and mercy, I just feel sorry for those whose pride is in the way. Ah...
