I just feel the video was not made in good taste...not too sure who that guy is cause I dont care to watch any celeb hunters there all full of bullcrap and this video just strengthens my opinion.

I think you have to understand how many guys are infected with 'magnumitise' to appreciate what drives guys to do things like this and spend heavily to have the opportunity.

At a 'Ranch' like this, it's pure profit for them to sell tickets to these types to go in and cull a deer. That guy probably spent a small fortune shooting deer with that .50 BMG that day, but only posted this one video because it has a 'neat' aspect to it.

Having grown up on and still live on a farm, I'm probably far more emotional detached from the 'cull' process when raising livestock, so I don't have a real problem with this. Any hits with that caliber is a fast clean kill and that's what's important.

It's just more fuel for the anti's to use against us. Unless you're Native I think most hunters continue to think hunting is a right. Hunting is not a right, it's a privilege that can be taken away. We're a shrinking minority with dumb**'* like this guy representing us

I'm not sure anti's would be too alarmed by this....they still can't get past the whole concept of 'High Fence Ranch Hunting' in the first place, let alone what goes on inside them. A guy hunting legally and a video that isn't graphic doesn't give them much to go on a rant over.

Stop recording and posting videos to youtube, you want to shoot a deer with a 50 BMG then go out and do it if legal, take one with a traditional bow or a 30-30, a 30-06 or a 20ga with buckshot, I do not care, take a picture that is tasteful and post if you wish but keep all the gore away from those that want to use it as evidence, be tasteful about hunting.

fully agree...the guy was flaunting the gore of both its eyes being sucked out not something that needs to be displayed on a pedestal...that will be the liberals next campaign video to ban guns like that. The guy is a douche about the whole situation made me think of that dumb spear guy in BC whom will remain nameless for obvious reasons.
