As much as it sucks I would have to agree with you given the alternatives.... CBC will of course be working hard for the Liberals on this and Patrick Brown has been a conservative in name only but he won't get a pass like Benjamin Levin by the media.

He hasn't been much of a Conservative in his policies, Ezra Levant has referred to him as a lying liberal more than a few times and he can't seem to do anything but agree with the current "leadership". That and some of the nominations issues and his absence of leadership .... apply large boot to posterior!

Let's hope they throw this guy out the bus door real fast and get a good leader this time because voting for the Libs or NDP in Ontario ..... well let's just say I think Libranoes is a good name and the NDP communist manifesto in there now .... either one is RIP Ontario...

YES..... PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!! They have to be selective in what they say too, Hudak's 100,000 jobs killed him, but if he had just said return to 2009 levels (Libs had hired 100,000 at that point.... MUCH more now including the plan to have 175 business killing goons running around)....he may have had a chance but CBC was in full advertising mode and it was so insulting to hear Kathleen Wynne actually say "thank you for all the hard work in my getting elected".....

And if you're going to start calling people traitors for voting for what they believe in, particularly if you don't know who or why they voting the way they do, then perhaps you need to look up the definition of freedom.
Other parties. What parties are you referring? Theres only two that believe you should have freedoms with guns and hunting or sport shooting. They are both right wing. So again. You say it’s time to start looking at other parties. Which ones. The socialists or the lying liberals. You’re probably an intelligent person. Try running your home income with leftists views. See how far that gets you. Again. Im curious. What parties are you referring. Im open for a change. None of the alternatives seem wise. IMO. Id like to hear your thoughts.

Brown was never the right choice and the party was never truly behind him. When he won the Provincial PC leadership, it reminded me of when Stefan Dion won the Federal Liberal leadership. Their respective parties woke up the next morning wanting to chew their own arms off.

I hope they didn't because it will come out, eventually,if they did and Brown will look like the victim. There's always been something I found a tad "off" with this guy. I sincerely hope these ladies aren't self-serving,bald-faced liars like so many others we've seen of late.

The party has been in a fractured state and in a quiet revolt since Brown appeared and won the leadership. Many members were really "put off" because he appeared as such a flaming red Tory. I,for one, have ZERO respect for people that play both sides of the fence.

Excellent analogy and right on the money.

What I meant was that you seemed to insinuate that I was recommending that people start embracing the left, when in fact all I said was that there are other parties to consider. Far too long have people believed that our only options are Conservative or Liberal (and more recently, NDP). But people don't take the time to educate themselves or at the very least get involved in some way shape or form.

The bottom line is, there are other parties. The notion that we only have two or three to choose from is ridiculous. The concept of strategic voting is equally ridiculous, in my opinion. People should vote for what they believe in -- not for what others want them to believe in. And certainly not in such a way to elect someone that doesn't particularly deserve to be in office.

For what it's worth, I'm a libertarian. So before you start accusing people of treason, take the time to re-read what they wrote.

If you read my original post. I never accused you of anything. I asked what parties. Anyways I’m glad you’re on the right side. I’ve considered going the libertarian way but we do need some moderate socialism. Which I believe this party does not have. Maybe I’m wrong. Once again, I’m open for enlightenment. I kinda believe the party has no chance. Yet anyway. But I guess that’s what NDP thought. Look at the progress they have made. Cheers man. I’m not against you.

We can only hope we get a strong leader out of this. Society has already decided he's guilty, no matter what. We need a strong conservative to lead us to the election. Liberal policies have turned Ontario into a have-not province and jacked up all our prices, taxes and made cost of living way too expensive. Hopefully people aren't silly enough to believe half of what will go on now till the election and remember the scandal, waste and higher taxes the left has brought us. Isn't it funny how we lose so many of our liberties when the liberals are in power?
