If the complainants were so drunk that they found themselves in such a position, how can their account of the events be credible ? These people did not complain, they didn’t “come forward” , they were sought out by a reporter.
The timing of this whole thing stinks.....period! There is no recourse by Brown. He has been accused, and found guilty by the court of public opinion ! Any investigator of historical complaints, such as these has to be extremely careful and thorough in their investigations. Brown wasn’t afforded this care by a reporter. In my opinion, he is the victim here ! It would be an entirely different matter if the alleged conduct was criminal......it wasn’t ! I would go out on a limb here and say there isn’t likely any man that is immune to this type of complaint, from sometime in the past.
The one complaint is problematic in that it was an employer/employee situation....never acceptable... but even this person saw fit to continue the working relationship and even worked for him the following year !!!

I realize that - formally. Not particularly talking about Brown . Does seem though that once it hits the press you're guilty in the public's eye.

If you are a conservative atleast..... Brian Lilley said that 5 that have already been chucked from the Libs (I've only heard of 2) and in Ontario you can see a super scum like Benjamin Levin almost got completely ignored. With Justlied having strip events, women's only events and hugging every have half clothed teen he could at a parade there is no repercussions .... but if a Conservative leader behaved like that we would have none ending repeat coverage and then months of "what if" discussions that came back to blaming him etc. .... NEVER the women for their behaviour and probably every guy has a story or two of bad dates, nutcases etc. that if dug up could be spun.

and the Libs are good at coverups too.... from over a year ago.... I took this off Facebook .... it had been marked as SPAM and will probably be deleted....

"Yet for her own MP's she covers up and hides it.... from about 2 years ago, non disclosure, no known impact and a coverup ....
"Premier Kathleen Wynne acknowledged she’s had to deal with “a couple of instances” of sexual harassment involving at least two MPPs within her Liberal caucus."

    P.S.
And as for Scheer.... he's not in the .001% and probably all his vacations wouldn't add up to the $250,000 Justin spent at Agha Khan's resort....

"My life growing up was a lot like other Canadians. I had a paper route, my mom was a nurse, and my dad worked for the newspaper. We didn’t even have a car.

Canadians need leaders who understand the challenges they face."

As a woman I'm in an awkward position. Good for women who speak up about real sexual abuse. And yet, I don't believe every woman's complaint is valid. Very sad to think someone's life could be ruined over a lie.

So Lisa MacLeod goes on the record today and says that she flagged Brown's behaviour a while back but her concerns were ignored....boy that sure helps the party at election time

There's more to Lisa MacLeod's involvement than is yet to come out. By her own admission, she claimed that she had previously given information to party execs only to be told, later, that it was unfounded. No doubt, she felt there was cover-up. Suddenly, these allegations become public. It's no secret among party members that the knives have been out for Brown for some time. Now,this. Things that make me go "H-m-m-m-m".
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

True, but he's out and disgraced now, why paint your party like she did ?

I'm not sure that she "painted her party" with this,at least, not yet. The party is bigger than one person witnessed by the fact of how quickly he's been replaced by Vic Fedeli. Actually,it may work to our advantage, but,if it turns out that this was a coup by MacLeod, she'll be out, too, fast and hard. Nobody would ever be able to trust her.
