Has too much time on their hands
Having a right and exercising that that right are two different things.
In Canada..you don't have that right in the second case.

You always have that right, you have the right to do anything, you also have consequences for your actions.
If you need a gun to protect yourself you better know that your life is in danger and deal with what happens next, you have that right.

There are many factors why our society is so violent - I've named them before and won't do that again - one big factor is our immigration policies - we let all kinds of people into our country - many are illegal and many come from third world countries where law and order hardly exist - we have the inner cities where 73% of the kids are born without a dad in the house - without parental guidance many of these kids join gangs and raise all kind of hell - the sad part is that any solution to these problems are dismissed and so you can only watch as things will get worse - when my folks came to America from Germany they had to have a sponsor and a job - they worked hard and raised 3 kids with a strong moral up bringing - a big difference compared to what happens today

How many of these school shooters have been non-white?

Las Vegas, worst mass murder in US History, what color was the Shooter ? White Middle Class American, That was a Lot of Violence and only a short time ago and almost forgotten about already. And by all accounts could have been a lot worse. It was a well planned and thought out procedure . But the American way right now seems to be Blame the Immigrants for everything. Most of them can't afford 15-20 highpowered assault rifles.

They also tend to forget that they are products of immigration too and at one point the people before them felt the same way about them as they feel about those coming in now, the only difference is the skin colour.

These mass shooting are only a very small portion of the shootings that go on in this country - heck in Chicago alone over a holiday weekend there is more shootings - it is no secret that certain cultures are more prone to violence - just look at the makeup of our prison population - facts are facts

Racism has nothing to do with your prison population?
There is a direct correlation between poverty and violence, not race and violence.
Look back 30 years, white gangs were predominant, groups that you would claim to be the best now were the worst gangs of the time. The Italian gangs, Jewish gangs, Irish gangs, POOR gangs, this is what happens, it is not race and it is not immigration, it is poverty.
Now, when you take those poverty based shootings out of it, how do you explain well to do white kids blowing away peers.

Fox - "There is a direct correlation between poverty and violence, not race and violence." -
Well Fox explain something to me - how come myself and everyone I knew growing up didn't turn into criminals even though we were real poor - we had less than the so called inner city poor of today - who have all kinds of government help - growing up I knew of families where the fathers were killed in a coal mine and left kids and a wife behind - there was no welfare in those days - the wife had to go to work and the church and relatives helped the family get by - when my uncle was killed he left 7 kids and a wife - you know something everyone of those kids grew up to solid citizens - no one became a criminal - so don't give me that line about poverty is the cause of people becoming criminals - that is plain horse manure

You are both correct. Poverty without support and love leads to crime. The people you know had the support and love of their community/church/extended family and as a result their poverty did not result in crime. Government help is not the same as support from people who know you, love you and believe in you. Take the personal relationship away add in the poverty and crime goes way up whether there are government programs or not. Fox's point however stands - put people of any colour in the same desperate situation and they will resort to crime at the same rate regardless of their race. Just ask the Nazi's - they had no problem finding collaborators in white Europe.
