I wouldn’t mind seeing the Libertarians get about 10% of the vote, not because I agree with their platform but more as a wakeup for the mainstream parties, and to nudge them a little further right. This would only take votes from the Conservatives so I guess is not really desirable in a tight election, I don’t think the Cons could ever get a large enough lead over the Liberals that they could afford it.

The further you get from the GTA this less support Ford will get.
On this forum the PC's have support but does the general public think the same way.
My guess is in the GTA the PC's will gain a few seats at the expense of other seats away from the GTA.
In some area's the PC's have no chance due to the make up of the population.
In others where PC's where close winners the Ford name will cost votes.
Not many Liberal votes will swing to Ford but more likely to the NDP.

The Sarnia area is strong PC supporter and the local membership has already said via newspaper, radio etc that we will support Ford. Eastern Ontario is also a strong PC supporter(kemptville area). The key spot for the PC's to gain control is Toronto and it seems they now have it . Anyone thinking the NDP is the better choice is out of their mind and wasn't around for the Rae days. You think were taxed to death now wait until the NDP ever get in !

So, the Dr's will write prescriptions for free, the pharmacy chains give away the drugs and dentists work for nothing? There is no such thing as a free lunch. Somebody had to pay the bill. What Wynne and Horvath are saying is we will borrow the money and your grandchildren will be burdonned with the cost and the compounded interest.

Saw her speech yesterday on cityplus24. Promised the stars and the moon however when question by a reported how she was going to pay for it her response was wait 2 weeks and it well be spell out in her platform and you can do the math
To me that's a kin to saying the cheque is in the mail.....
